| This is the last message that will probably go up on this blog - mainly because only a few people read this xanga. I'm won't close it down, mainly because it was part of what I did for almost three years.
This year has been a strange one. My writing and my reading life has exploded - in a positively good way. I've made a few decisions that I'm sure will benefit me in the long run, even though they were fairly difficult to make.
I've gotten back in touch with Jocelyn - and our friendship is better than ever. I'm happy. And that's the way I intend to stay.
Another academic year is gone, but unlike previous years - I won't look back.
Love all, Bri

| Hey -
I know you guys read this - but if you want to keep up with me from now on - look over to Have Goggles, Will Fly. I know, I know, I just rolled over to The Wind and the Fury - but that sounded like a rip off of The Sound and the Fury, so I turned to something less dramatic and more lighthearted for a name. Same posts and all - but I'll be updating there more regularly than here.
Thanks.

| I saw Grindhouse this weekend and I think my head might still explode, it was so amazing. Sure we had to pay $6.25 for a matinée, but holy crap, we saw 2 movies and about 15 minutes of fake trailers that were hilarious. Hearts for Rodriguez and Tarantino.
Also, two of the stories are done and will be sent to magazines by April 18...so let us hope that there is success for Bri!
Last thing: I don't like it when people get in my face repeatedly. It's rude.
That's all for now.

| Signing in.
I know it's been a while, but what with work and school and writing, it's a wonder I haven't imploded. A few things to talk about: short stories, the BSG finale and The Black Donnellys, and going to San Antonio.
Short Stories make me want to pull my hair out. I've been working on three and they really need to be finished and in good order by Monday. But they refuse to work. Le sigh.
The BSG finale was so amazing. I didn't even realize it was Bob Dylan's All Along the Watchtower that was playing until the guy started singing. Amazing. And the final pan of the coming battle was awesome as well. Ron Moore, I applaud you. Alot. Also, The Black Donnellys continues to amaze. My mom and I are thoroughly engrossed in the show now.
San Antonio was great - a zebra slobbered on my window and a peacock glared while joey wallabys were so incredibly cute, you thought you might have an aneurysm. That's all for now kiddies. Sorry I'm not writing as much here as I originally did, but I don't have that much to say for now.

| As some of you already know, I've moved my "writing" topics over to Blogger for a more professional/portfolio type site. I've already posted about four entries and so far the layout is working extremely well for what I'm trying to do - and I feel relatively confident that it looks pretty good.
So here is the link. I'll still post on Xanga for those of you who read here, but anyone can leave a comment on blogger. So if you see something you like in any one of the posts, you don't have to have an account. Let me know what you think.
That's all for today.
